ABOUT THE PROJECT
Shelley of Sunny Day Designs hired our team to help update her existing Shopify theme to the latest version as well as to give the shop a fresh new look and style that felt more aligned with her brand. Shelley really loved some of the features of the theme she had (Boost) so our main goal was to get really creative within the theme elements to incorporate more of the bubbly and fun personality of the Sunny Day Design branding.
The Sunny Day Design website was using the Vintage Shopify backend, so we installed the latest version of the theme to take advantage of the Shopify 2.0 features.
- We used CSS to infuse more of the fun and bubbly brand personality.
- We added more landing pages to give other pages of the store a more engaging and interesting layout and design.
- We used meta fields to help highlight the benefits and unique selling features of Shelley's products and core values.
PROCESS DETAILS
All of projects start with our Style + Set Up Package where we focus on creating a beautiful and strategy homepage. In the case of Sunny Day Designs we really used this opportunity to infuse the bright and bold colors and patterns of the brand to the homepage. Additionally we helped with a few add-on services to really complete the project.
- We created additional landing pages for the about page, wholesale page, and stockiest. In t his process we also streamlined a few pages to help customers find information quicker than before.
- We created additional product pages templates to allow each product page to highlight the unique aspects of the product.
- We also worked with Shelley to update and streamline her product listings so they were more consistent across all products and collections.
